Dear Members,

Throughout 2023, as the Balıkesir Commodity Exchange, we have undergone an intensive period of work to contribute to the economic development of our region and to provide the best possible service to our members. Always prioritizing the strategic importance of the agriculture and livestock sectors, we have both strengthened our existing infrastructure and expanded our service network with new projects.

The Soil Analysis Laboratory, operating under the Balıkesir Commodity Exchange Agricultural and Livestock Inc., provides scientific data to our producers to enhance soil fertility, contributing significantly to the agricultural production strength of our region.

In addition, our efforts continue for the planned BTB Lidaş licensed warehousing project, which will have a storage capacity of 30,000 tons. With this project, we aim to provide farmers with modern storage facilities for their products.

Our Exchange not only operates on a local scale but also continues to offer various advantages to our members through significant national partnerships and affiliations. As the founder of Ege Licensed Warehousing Inc. (ELİDAŞ) and TÜRİB Central Product Market Brokerage Inc., we hold a vital position in the commercial infrastructure of our country. Furthermore, through our partnerships in organizations such as TMO-TOBB Lidaş, Balıkesir University Technology Development Zone Management Inc., İzmir Agricultural Technology Center (İTTM), and Bigadiç Agriculture-Based Specialized Organized Industrial Zone (TDİOSB), we continue to expand our sectoral collaborations.

In addition to these initiatives in 2023, we launched efforts to establish ELÜS Market Inc., one of our new ventures supporting agricultural production processes, along with other collaborations. Through these initiatives, we aim to offer comprehensive solutions tailored to the needs of our members.

The primary goal of our Exchange is to facilitate the commercial activities of our members, enhance the economic potential of our region, and represent our sector on national and international platforms. Drawing strength from our past, we continue to move forward with firm steps toward the future.
